2025 marks a significant milestone: Deutsche WindGuard celebrates one quarter century of pioneering, dedication, innovation, teamwork and commitment to the visionary goal of our company founders Axel Albers, Gerhard Gerdes and Dr Knud Rehfeldt. In 2000, they decided to pave the way for a future energy supply almost exclusively from renewable sources.
Our anniversary slogan encapsulates what has been determining our mindset and driving us for two and a half decades: Always at the pulse of the market and with an open ear for the needs of all industry players, we have been at the forefront of all important developments from the very beginning as pioneers in wind energy. Thus, we are today one of the most comprehensive service providers in the wind energy industry with a portfolio of around 60 services along the entire value chain of a wind energy project. It was this central idea that motivated the founders of Deutsche WindGuard, Dr Knud Rehfeldt, Axel Albers and Gerhard Gerdes, a quarter of a century ago to effectively harness the potential of wind energy. In 2000, they therefore founded Deutsche WindGuard with the then new concept of independent technical management of wind farms. Since then, Deutsche WindGuard has been committed to providing unbiased and manufacturer-independent consulting and comprehensive scientific, technical, and operational services in the complex energy market.
Today, we offer investors and developers, manufacturers, decision makers in governments and businesses worldwide, extensive and independent expertise on all facets of wind energy.
