As a service provider in the field of renewable energies, we stand for an energy supply using sustainable and climate-friendly resources. The protection of our environment is our intrinsic drive. We are committed to dealing responsibly with natural resources and promote the use of environmentally friendly technologies.
Active Reduction of environmental impacts
We are however aware that our processes can also have a negative impact on the environment. Keeping this impact as low as possible is our endeavour. We continuously review our processes for their carbon footprint and implement alternative and more resource-efficient approaches.
Climate protection think tank
We ask all employees and managers of Deutsche WindGuard to commit themselves to environmental protection and nature conservation and to actively support our endeavours. To achieve this, we provide our employees with space for creative ideas and sustainable research projects.
The successful implementation of an environmental management system was confirmed by an external certification body in 2024 as part of our ISO 14001 certification.
- We opt for 100 percent green electricity and operate our own wind energy and photovoltaic systems to cover our energy demand.
- Where possible, our employees use public transport for business trips.
- We fully offset the CO2 emissions of our vehicle fleet.
- We continuously and sustainably replace our vehicles with electric cars whenever possible and ask our employees to use charging points providing renewable energy. Our own charging points are supplied by our photovoltaic system and are also available to our employees for private use.
- For commuting to work, we offer our employees the Deutsche Bahn job ticket and the option of leasing a bicycle.
- We select equipment and hardware according to the principle of longevity without compromising on technological standards.
- When procuring consumable materials, we choose environmentally friendly products, check their suitability, sustainability and recyclability, and favour German or European production from recycled materials, as well as working with regional suppliers and service providers.
- Recycling is our way of life.
