Maintaining and promoting all employees’ health are the core of our corporate activities. With this in mind, "Safety First - always and without exception!" is our primary principle.
With the successful certification according to ISO 45001, Deutsche WindGuard has firmly integrated its management system for occupational health and safety into its corporate philosophy back in 2021.
Safety as top priority
Health and safety at work are an integral part of all operational processes. We include them in technical, economic and social considerations right from the start. Risk-aware thinking at all company levels forms the basis for a safe workplace. Without exception, we favour preventative measures over aftercare.
Every employee has the right to stop working if situations or events occur that impede safe working or pose a risk to the environment. Our managers support employees in these situations and are always available for dialogue.
Creating good working conditions
Deutsche WindGuard Group pays all employees fairly and in accordance with applicable legislation. We accept and support further employee rights according to applicable law.
Preventive health protection for our employees is very important to us, and we support and promote this through numerous measures.
- Beyond what is required by law, we provide our employees with information and know-how on safety and health-related topics through internal newsletters and courses, for example.
- In cooperation with our medical officer, we regularly conduct an employee survey to check the work-balance status.
- We provide our employees with office equipment that is as ergonomic as possible.
- We support our employees' participation in the Hansefit company fitness programme and offer them the opportunity to lease bicycles.
- In cooperation with health insurance companies, we regularly organise health-promoting offers for our employees.
- We offer our employees additional health benefits above and beyond the usual level - for example, preventive medical check-ups or subsidies for workplace glasses.
